Questions before you buy
Yes. Registering in SAM.gov, and filing SBA or California certifications, is free. Start at SAM.gov, certifications.sba.gov, and caleprocure.ca.gov. Private certifiers such as WBENC charge their own fees. Those fees are paid to the certifier, not to SupplierStart.
No. You submit from your own account. Kits help you prepare. The readiness review marks gaps in a draft you already have. We don’t ask for your government password, and we don’t log in for you.
No. An agency or certifier makes the decision. A green mark means the item looked complete in the draft we reviewed. It is not an approval, and it is not a promise of a contract.
One draft package. An AI-assisted pass flags gaps, then a person reviews the draft. You get a red, yellow, and green report in plain English: what’s missing, what’s thin, and what looks ready to file. It is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription.
Kits are playbooks and document trackers you work through yourself, priced from $49 to $79. The review is for a draft you have already assembled. The starter bundle includes the three kits and the checklist. It does not include the review.
